From the whimsical worlds of the Muppets, Mary Poppins, and Willy Wonka to the unforgettable sounds of Disney, Looney Tunes, Charlie Brown, 1960s TV hits, the Boston Pops, and John Williams’ magical film scores—this concert promises joy for kids from age 5 to 75.
Formed by four longtime friends and musical collaborators, the Nissitissit String Quartet brings fresh energy to the classical tradition, blending jazz, fiddle, folk, Broadway, and pop into vibrant, multi-generational performances. Featuring Lisa Kempskie, Peter Stickel, Valerie Callahan, and John Bumstead—each a seasoned professional with deep ties to New England’s musical scene—this ensemble is on a mission to bring strings to life across Northwest Middlesex.
