Goodbye May
Come to the library this week and learn more about the semi-aquatic mammals all around us.
Hi Friends,
I can hardly believe that the summer is right around the corner. We have so many fun things planned. This week brings us the rescheduled program about otters, beavers, mink and muskrats. There will be no live animals at the presentation.
There will be no notary services available at the library on Thursday or Saturday, so if you need anything notarized before the end of the month come in on Tuesday or Wednesday. As always, there is no charge for notary services at the library.
Semi-Aquatic Mammals
Thursday May 30th at 6PM
We are delighted that this presentation has been able to be rescheduled. Thank you to Gaynor and the Nashua River watershed for their flexibility and willingness to present this program.
Tuesday
Stories and Fun
Join Jen for stories and a craft on Tuesdays at 10AM. If the weather is lovely story time might even be outside. Jen has just purchased some fun new items for the children’s room including a huge dinosaur. Come in and check it out.
Lego Club
Tuesdays at 4PM
Join James and other friends for Lego Club. If you make something very special, you are welcome to take it home.
Wednesdays
Right Start Playgroup
Join Occupational Therapist, Denise Lynch, for this wonderful group. Parents and their crawlers and walkers play with friends and can ask Denise any questions they may have about child development. Denise brings something fun to experiment with each week and suggests developmentally appropriate activities to build skills. New members are always welcome. This is a great group to meet new friends for parents and kids.
Video Game Club
Join Kierstyn for video game club. We have more than just MarioKart for our switches and players can work with Kierstyn to pick the game for the evening. Fun for all ages.
If you would like to reserve a table at the festival, here is the link to the vendor application form. https://forms.gle/zjUYrZBHtMwUR9AL6 Everyone is welcome! There is no cost for Ashby vendors and we are asking that vendors contribute something to the raffle table to help defray the costs of holding the Festival. We are looking for helpers to do all the things that it takes to make a festival great. If you want to contribute an hour of your time, or more email hperry@cwmars.org or get on the list at the library. We are especially interested in people who can supervise kids doing art or playing games. Together we can make this the the best AshbyFest ever!
