Veterans Day Week events at the Ashby Free Public Library
Hi Friends,
I hope you are enjoying the mild start to November and are thinking of the Veterans who have served our country. The Ashby Elementary School Students have made cards thanking veterans that are hanging at the library thanking our veterans for their service, come and check out their kind thoughts.

Secure the Future of the Ashby Library
Over 100 years ago Edwin Chapman contributed the land and funds to create the Ashby Free Public Library. As the library ages it will need help to continue to be preserved in excellent condition. The Ashby Free Library Fund was established to support the library building. If you would like to join the Ashby Free Library Fund Mailing list, please click here The fund members will have access to special performances, events and benefits. The fund members will have the ability to shape the future direction of library special events and services.
Winter Artisan Market and Family Fun Day
Saturday November 16th 10-3
The Ashby Free Public Library in cooperation with Rainbow’s End Apiary and the Friends of the Ashby Free Public Library will hold a Vendors Fair at the library on Saturday. There will be 40 different things to do between shopping, eating, crafts and games for the kids. There will be a working forge, a food truck and a variety of baked goods. This will be a great day for the whole family. Don’t let the Fun end at the Library. Next, head over to the other side of the common and check out all the options at Crafts By Kelly at 10 Common Road. Kelly’s shop has a number of different artist available to satisfy all your shopping needs. Then, check out the antiques, collectibles and more at the Main Street Mercantile at 873 Main street, you will be certain to find one of a kind pieces here. Support the local economy and your neighbors by shopping small this holiday season.
