Hi Friends,
On Thursday March 26th we have 2 special opportunities to paricipate in our community. From 3 to 5 State Representative Margaret Scarsdale will be at thee Ashby Free Public Library collecting signatures and speaking with her constituents.
At 7:00 PM, we will be holding another important discussion about the potential to establish a charter school here in Ashby—and this is a moment where community involvement truly matters.
We are beginning to assemble a “dream team” to explore what it would take to develop a strong, viable proposal for submission this June. This is an ambitious goal, but it is absolutely within reach if we bring together the right mix of people, perspectives, and expertise.
This effort will require a wide range of talents. We are looking for:
parents who care deeply about education
educators with experience and insight
individuals with backgrounds in law, finance, and fundraising
people with knowledge of buildings, architecture, and construction
community members who know how to organize, connect, and get things done
If you’ve ever wondered how you could make a real difference in the future of Ashby, this is an opportunity to be part of something meaningful from the very beginning.
