Hi Friends,
Join us at the Ashby Free Public Library for a month packed with exciting events and activities for all ages! Kick off the fun with our First Friday Movie Night, at 8:30 PM on the common. Dive into the world of Japanese animation with our "Tales and Anime" session, and let the little ones' imaginations soar with enchanting tales from Strega Mama. Discover how to be more eco-friendly in our "Let's Go Eco Show" and bring the kids to create unique upcycle art projects all month. For adults, we have an array of creative classes, including an introduction to watercolor painting and hands-on soapmaking. There's something for everyone at the library this month—don't miss out on the fun and creativity!
First Friday Movie
Stand By Me at 8:30 on the Common
As a nod to 80’s nostalgia we are kicking off the summer movies with an outside classic. Based on a story by Stephen King, this is not a movie for the tiny tots. It is a story of 4 preteen boys learning about life and friendship as they go on an adventure. As the movie will be outside, unless it rains, remember to bring something to sit on and bug spray. We will not be serving food or drink, so bring along snacks as well.
Saturday Morning Cartoons in Pajamas
Saturday morning at 10:30
Jen has cooked up a fun Saturday morning. We will be serving Chocolate Chip pancakes and Cinnamon Toast muffins to go with the cartoons. Join us for a morning that harkens back to the time when the only time for kids TV was Saturday morning.
