The Ashby Free Public Library is hosting a Gallery of Young Artists, a special exhibit celebrating the creativity of children of all ages.
🖼️ Have your child select their best work, or create something new, to be featured in our library gallery.
🎓 It’s never too early to list a gallery showing on a future art school application!
🌟 All ages and all media are welcome.
🌍 You don’t need to be an Ashby resident to participate!
Let the whole town see the amazing work your kids do!

Calling All Pie Bakers! 🥧
The Ashby Historical Society’s beloved annual Pie Sale is coming up, and we need your help to keep this sweet tradition alive!
Over the past few years, many of our dedicated volunteer bakers have moved away, and we’re looking for new community members to step in. If you can bake a fruit pie—or even a few—for the sale, we’d love to hear from you!
🍏 Traditional favorites include apple, blueberry, and strawberry rhubarb, and last year we even had a delicious peach pie. If you have a different specialty, let Nancy know—she’ll confirm if it’s a good fit. Just remember, the pie should hold up well in July weather.
🗓️ Pies should be ready for pickup on July 2nd at 5:00 PM.

Ashby’s Beloved Whitney Organ Has Been Restored! 🎶
Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, the historic Whitney Organ has been beautifully restored to its full glory—and you're invited to hear it in action!
🎵 Join us for a special concert this Saturday May 31 at 3:00 PM at the Ashby Unitarian Universalist Church.

♻️ Spring Cleaning? Support a Great Cause While Keeping Items Out of the Landfill!
The Library’s Homeschool Co-op and the Friends of the Ashby Free Public Library are teaming up for a FUNdraiser with Savers!
Savers will donate money to the library based on the total weight of useful, gently used items we collect—so your spring cleaning can make a big impact!
Many generous donors have already contributed items from last weekend’s Town-Wide Yard Sale, but we’re still collecting through the end of June.
